Al Woods, Boo Robinson & Richard Dickson - Men of Quality Character

In the past three webisodes, I've spoken about the athletic talents of Elias Sports Management's newest family members: Boo Robinson, Al Woods, and Richard Dickson. For those who missed my thoughts on each of them, you can play catch up by taking a look at the links below...

Obviously, you need to be an incredible athlete to play in the NFL, but, unbeknownst to many in my industry, there's one attribute you absolutely have to look for in a prospect more than anything: quality character. And my new guys are loaded with it.
Boo Robinson comes from a great family who's raised him to appreciate the value of a good education. He graduated valedictorian of his high school class and then went on to complete four years at Wake Forest (and we all know how smart you have to be to succeed there).
Al Woods is like a big teddy bear. He's the nicest guy there is and always has a big smile on his face (now that I think about it... he actually reminds me a lot of my Dad). He's respected by so many people because he's such a big believer in quality communication. And because of this appreciation, he's gonna ask a lot of questions on and off the football field, because he always wants to know where he stands as he works towards his dreams.
Richard Dickson is one of those guys who has a tremendous amount of grit, determination, and heart. I'll tell you right now... once he finds his home on an NFL roster, that team isn't going to be able to get rid of him, because he's the kind of person who isn't going to give up on anything. He works his butt off until he's accomplished whatever has been asked of him to perfection.
I'm so proud of this 2010 draft class - I really, really am. Each of the above possess a degree of character than any NFL team would love to have injected into their locker room. They're all respectful, yes sir / no sir kind of guys who are easily coachable. And when you couple these admirable qualities of character with exceptional athletic talents, you have yourself a person who owns an incredible amount of up-side --- the kind of upside that turns young talent into superstar veterans.
Again... Boo, Al, Richard --- welcome to the Family. All of us have a lot to look forward to...
